I am..

a third-year journalism candidate at the Ryerson School of Journalism, Toronto. I have an ardent commitment to my dream of becoming a storyteller through which I can narrate events and experiences with a balanced and an idiosyncratic world view. I am from the the world’s largest democracy on this planet, India, and therefore I believe I have a responsibility and a duty to adhere to at the Ryerson School of Journalism while I study and to the North American Media industry in general. I try very hard for my stories to carry a balanced and an unbiased perspective and it is always my first priority to make an honest and moral judgement whenever it comes to any story that I need to cover.

I am a travel freak and I use the pseudonym ‘the globetrotter’ on social media, just because I like it. I want to travel the entire world, starting with travelling to 30 countries before I turn 30. I am 18, and Canada is the first country I’ve travelled to from India, so it’s a long way to go. But updates will follow  [I also have a humongous tattoo on my arm of the world map] (It’s not political, so nothing to worry :D)

Other than that, I love reading, I feed on history and I love talking. I am a spiritual person and can go on for days talking and discussing about existence, enlightenment, survival and nirvana.
